I will only let them check my INR with a vein draw.

Even though my medical records state "Vein Draw Only", last month there was a new technician in the lab. She sent me to the room with the finger prick machine and proceeded to tell me that is the easiest way to do the Protime test. I then proceeded to explain to her about Antiphospholipid Antibodies. :) I won, and she knows me now.

My hospital clinic has started posting lab results on a secured website, so I always know my INR within a few hours. The Coumadin clinic nurse still calls me the same day to review my dosage.

I have been theraputic for a while, so I only have to test monthly.
